Wait Until Dark

Picture
Theatre in the Round is well-known for excellent murder mysteries. The Frederick Knott classic, Wait Until Dark, is no exception. The plot is a thriller and the audience takes on the vulnerability of the blind actor in the lead role who has to contend with an interesting scenario...After a flight back home, Sam Hendrix (Parker Shook) returns with a doll he innocently acquired along the way. As it turns out, the doll is actually stuffed with heroin, and a group of criminals led by the ruthless Roat (Christopher DeVaan) has followed Hendrix back to his place to retrieve it. When Hendrix leaves for business, the crooks make their move -- and find his blind wife, Susy (Heather Burmeister), alone in the apartment. Soon, a life-threatening game begins between Susy and the thugs.
